Conference

I am currently at a fabulous conference at Snowbird Resort in Utah. Here's why it's fabulous:
  1. We have a very good team.
  2. We have a very good project which we finished early leaving us plenty of fun time.
  3. My parents brought Elizabeth up to see me.
  4. Today I got to spend the day walking around with my husband and daughter.
It's a good life.

Women and Politics

Because I am a chick and also political, I am very aware of women in politics and the treatment of women politically in the media, and so on and so on. There was a montage on You Tube a couple of weeks ago that made me so angry I was scraping my brain matter off the ceiling for hours as my head continually exploded.

This post cracked me up - made me laugh at something that would have normally really pissed me off - it has a bad word, though, so don't go to the link if you are afraid of bad words.

My Friend has Left

Here's my friend Autumn - who has moved to Wisconsin today. I miss her already and I'm pretty sure her flight has not even taken off yet.

Thank you for all the daily routines - here's to a lifetime of new and fun visits!

Here's my baby. Dancing away. Whenever she hears music she dances.

My Friends

Tonight my friends and I went to Sex and the City. It was fabulous! Then we went back for some good conversation - emulating the Sex and the City girls.

Here's how that went!

Why I Live in Utah

Just another reason why I live here.

This week's U.S. News and World Report listed the top 30 hospitals in all the areas of child care - basically saying, if you're baby is sick, here's where you have to go. And guess what? Salt Lake City's Primary Children's Hospital is in all the lists. This is the place Lily went to get her hips checked for dysplasia.

It's 40 minutes away. And it's the best place to be, because all the other places are in very expensive places to live.
