What a Memory

This morning on the car ride, this was the conversation:

Princess: "so, for Christmas, I'm thinking Santa can bring me a Mulan dollie, huh?"

Duchess: "I think that if there is such a thing as a Mulan dollie, that Santa would consider that."

Princess: "for Easter I got a pink basket with eggs and candy and a pink computer that kind of looks like an iPod, huh?"

Duchess: "no, I think the computer looks more like a laptop."

Princess: "right, a laptop. So I got a pink laptop and David got an alphabet singing circle, huh?"

Duchess: "nice memory, good job."
Princess: "so, for Easter, I'm thinking I want - oooh, what is that cloud doing?"

Duchess: privately to herself, "thank God for the cloud"
