On the way out of preschool today - the Princess says "E - X - I - T - EXIT!" As she read the exit sign. My husband says this isn't reading. My friend with a phd in English says it is. So, I'm picking the expert as trump - so when she asks me when she read, I'm going to say "a - g - e - 2, AGE 2!!!"

On the way out of preschool today - the Princess says "E - X - I - T - EXIT!" As she read the exit sign. My husband says this isn't reading. My friend with a phd in English says it is. Tell your husband that I watched her try to sound out words last October. Oh yes, she might not be totally reading but I am with you. A-g-e-2.
