Today the husband and I filed our taxes. It was nice seeing how much money we get for Elizabeth. America loves the children. Anyway - we were chatting about the rebate and our accountant said that the rebate will have to be paid back next year dollar for dollar.

Yeah. It sucks. But nice for May.
I am not a "numbers" person (see Athena for that) but I do believe something is amiss here. My understanding is that the rebate will be taxed as additional income next year, not dollar for dollar. So get out there and stimulate the economy! I'm sure the princess needs some new designer shoes!
The princess always new designer shoes. But mostly, the Duchess needs a mini cooper...do you think my rebate will be enough for that?
